Game Master and writer, will be attending Play 2026
Valentina “Nina” Favaron, also known as “Mastress of Evil” is a game master, translator, adventure writer, and event organizer specializing in multi-table role-playing experiences.
A strong advocate of role-playing games as a tool for social connection, in 2022 she created Guida Ludica per Giocoruolisti, a website that collects an event calendar and an interactive map of associations across Italy.
An eclectic game master, she has run approximately 30 different game systems, collaborating with major Italian publishers and conventions. As a translator, she has worked on titles such as Changeling: The Dreaming, Midgard 5e, Vampire: The Black Hand, and Legacy: Life Among the Ruins. As an adventure writer, she has contributed to The True OSR by Tin Hat Games and Rayn by Aristea.
In 2026, she took part in DigiWise, a European project focused on board game and role-playing game design, acting as a mentor for aspiring game designers.
For this edition of Play, she will be present as a former co-founder of Unravelore—the collective dedicated to promoting RPG culture in all its forms—as well as a game master, mentor, and player within the Roleplay Talent Garden initiative.
