1-Page Gamebook Contest
The 1-Page Gamebook Contest Returns to Play 2025!
To celebrate Play - The Games Festival 2025, this year Librogame’s Land is introducing a new edition of the 1-Page Gamebook contest! The challenge is open to branching narratives, visual gamebooks, interactive comics, and solo adventures… all in a single page!
A special thanks to Andrea Rossi and the 1-Page Dungeon 4 Play team for kindly agreeing to join the two contests.
📜 How to Enter
- Create an interactive adventure or visual gamebook on a single A4 page. Feel free to enhance it with drawings, maps, or character sheets.
- The theme for the 2025 edition is “40”, in honour of 40 years of Italian gamebooks. Using this theme is optional, but will be factored into the judging process.
- Submit your entry as a PDF (max. 10MB) by 30 March 2025 to info@librogame.net and make sure to follow the official contest guidelines.
- Shortlisted entries will be available at Play 2025, where attendees will have the chance to try them out and vote.
🏆 Judging and Awards
A panel of industry experts will select the finalists, and Play 2025 visitors will be able to test and vote for their favourites. The winners will be announced on Sunday, 6 April, during the Festival’s closing day.
