1-Page Gamebook: The Finalists!

Once again, the 1-Page Gamebook competition by Librogame’s Land and Play has been a great success, thanks to the enthusiastic crowd of writers who submitted a total of thirty 1-Page Gamebooks—written, read, re-read, tested, illustrated and laid out with incredible care.
The organisers of the award would like to personally thank everyone who took part in this celebration of gaming, storytelling, and creativity—especially for offering both us and the Play audience the chance to experience these original and engaging little gems!
A huge thank you to: Raffaele Alessio, Chiara “Recensioni di Chiara” Bergamin, Giacomo Bernini, Giada Bertazzo, Matteo Borghesi, Roberto Bucciarelli, Andrea Carbone, Lorenzo De Santis, Lorenzo Gherardi, Corinna Ilotti, Alex Isabelle, IsabelFae, Aurora Longo, Gabriele Luccioni, Roberto Marcarini, MastroRozen, Giovanni Moreschi, Luca Mulazzani, Daniele Pallozzi, Nadia Patroni, Giulia Pistoia, Alessandro Rubbo, Luca Santarelli, Alessandro Stefanelli, Andrea Suliani, Andrea Tortoreto, Lorenzo Trenti, Simone Urzia, Marco Zamanni.
All submitted 1-Page Gamebooks—including those not selected as finalists—will be collected and distributed by Librogame’s Land and Play after the competition has ended and the winning entry has been announced.
In the meantime, during Play – The Games Festival 2025, you’ll have the chance to play through the finalist titles.
Join us in Hall 18 – Area L16 from Friday to Sunday: you’ll be able to read the shortlisted 1PGs and vote for your favourite using a simple QR code system—just with your smartphone!
The winner of the 1-Page Gamebook contest will be announced after the end of Play 2025, so voting and gameplay will remain open right up until Sunday evening!
