Evolution is all about being capable of adapting to a changing environment, but without sudden jumps or drastic shifts.
Over the past fifteen years, Play – The Games Festival has grown and transformed, always staying in step with the evolving world of games.
Like a tortoise, steady and sure, Play has moved forward one step at a time: first shifting from autumn to spring, then extending from 2 to 3 days, adding new outdoor pavilions, and now making the move to Bologna. All this, without ever losing sight of what truly matters – its core, its shell:
- Come In, Pick Your Game, and Play: Thousands of gaming tables ready for everyone, from seasoned enthusiasts to first-time players.
- A Showcase for Gaming Associations: A space where associations host their national events and connect with a wider audience.
- A Hub for Publishers: Big and small game publishers alike find the perfect platform to showcase their creations and reach the public.
Play – The Games Festival keeps evolving, but it remains true to itself: more gaming tables (so many more tables!), more space for Associations and Publishers, better services for visitors and industry professionals, and easier access for everyone, whether they’re arriving by public transport or by car.
