The National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) is Italy’s leading research institution for the study of the Universe and a founding member of the GAME Science Research Center. INAF promotes, carries out, and coordinates research activities in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics, including within European Union programs and international organizations. It collaborates with universities and public and private institutions at the national and international levels. INAF designs and develops cutting-edge technologies and advanced instrumentation for the study and exploration of the Cosmos. It also fosters the dissemination of scientific culture through educational and outreach projects in astronomy, targeting both schools and society at large.
