I'm not a kid anymore, I'm well over 40, but the desire to live doing what I love is stronger than ever. Many people my age have already solidified their career path, but I want to completely change mine. My name is Simone Leonardi and this is my passion. It seems like a crazy idea to be able to make a living creating board games. If you don't work for a large publishing house or if you're not well structured within this environment, it's probably really crazy. I don't belong to either of these cases, but the desire to create and entertain is pushing me to overcome all my fears. Creating games is expensive, very expensive, and if you have as many ideas as I do, it becomes impossible to realize them without having tens of thousands of euros available... and that's not my case. That's why I made a different choice, I invested in equipment and raw materials, to be able to create all the games that I thought were fun and enjoyable for people. I have special paper for card games, a professional laser printer, a professional cutting plotter, a 3D printer for non-paper supports, and I collaborate with various illustrators to maintain the high graphic level of my games. In short, I am completely autonomous in the production of my games and produce a few copies at a time to avoid unnecessary waste by printing the most requested games. Being small and directly managing the entire production allows me to offer something that large publishing houses cannot do, which is the customization of games. I can insert your caricature into my games for just a few extra euros.
