ARCIGAY APS

Arcigay is the main Italian non-profit LGBTI association and the largest in terms of number of volunteers and activists throughout the country. It is a social promotion association (APS) registered in the national register of APS with number 115 (L. 383/2000). Since 1985, it has fought for equal rights, self-determination, the overcoming of stereotypes and prejudices towards LGBTI people, and against all forms of discrimination. It operates throughout the country through its 73 territorial committees and member associations, thanks to the participation of thousands of volunteers and activists, LGBTI people and non-LGBTI people, who are mobilized to give substance to the objectives and activities of the association both at local and national level.
