La Gilda del Cassero

La Gilda is the gaming group of the Cassero LGBTQIA+ Center in Bologna. Since 2014, we have embraced gaming as a tool for activism and have promoted the culture of safer spaces within the Italian gaming community. We host gaming meetups every other Sunday at Cassero, organize nerd-themed social events, and take part in major gaming conventions. We also run an internal game design lab and work on sensitivity reading and playtesting—all with the goal of fostering LGBTQIA+ self-representation and advocating for transfeminist perspectives in games.
