Federludo - Federazione Italiana delle Associazioni Ludiche

Federludo, the Italian Federation of Gaming Associations, was established in 2018 with the aim of representing nonprofit associations that promote and disseminate intelligent gaming and gaming culture in Italy. The idea of creating a national federation emerged during LuccaConsulta 2017, a meeting attended by over thirty Italian gaming organizations. On that occasion, the importance of pooling resources, knowledge, and passion to promote the right to play and social inclusion, fundamental elements for a healthy and cohesive society, was recognized. The "Carta dei Valori Ludici", adopted as a founding document alongside the Statute, represents the heart of Federludo. This document defines the federation’s identity, values, and objectives, serving as a guide for all undertaken activities. The fundamental principles on which it is based include listening, collaboration, and mutual support among affiliated associations. Federludo is committed to promoting intelligent gaming, defined as any activity freely undertaken by individuals or groups, without immediate purposes other than recreation and leisure, which simultaneously develops and exercises intellectual, relational, physical, and manual skills. Currently, the federation has 61 affiliated associations, distributed across 14 regions of Italy, and its legal headquarters are in Follonica (GR). Among Federludo’s main activities are regulatory consulting and compliance with the Third Sector framework, free sponsorship for gaming events and initiatives, and the establishment of advantageous agreements for affiliated associations. Additionally, the federation organizes national events such as FederludoCon, now in its fourth edition in 2025, which represents an important opportunity for training and networking for Italian gaming organizations.
