Willy "Zoosparkle" Guasti

Willy Guasti (born in Prato, 1991) holds a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Florence, where he wrote his thesis on dinosaurs. He works as a science outreach expert and has appeared on Focus TV, contributed to several Italian museums and institutions dedicated to natural sciences — including the Universities of Bologna and Florence, the Natural History Museum of the University of Pisa, MUSE in Trento, CESTHA (Experimental Centre for Habitat Protection), and the Egyptian Museum of Turin — and has written for various DMAX programmes.
He is the creator of Zoosparkle, one of Italy’s most popular science communication projects focused on animals, evolution, and palaeontology.
He is also the author of Il coccodrillo ha il cuore tenero (Rizzoli, 2022) and Dinosauri Eccellenti (Gribaudo, 2024). His third book will be released in July 2025 by Tomodachi Press.
And in case you were wondering — yes, his D&D campaign features scientifically accurate dinosaurs!
