Davide Marescotti

Born in October 1979, Davide Marescotti followed his passion by studying at Liceo Artistico and attending various comic art schools, including Humpty Dumpty, ColoriAmo, and the Chiavari School of Comics. He trained under Bonelli artist Giovanni Talami.
He has worked with numerous Italian publishers:

Edicolors: Cover artist and illustrator for Il Sogno di Naarom and the Mondi Segreti series, including Acqua, Aria, and Alice in Wonderland.

WildBoar: Illustrations for Il Bestiario di Eymerich, Alice in Steamland, and I Giochi di Cthulhu.

Dreamlord Press: Illustrated the Italian and German editions of FATE – Sistema Base and FATE – Strumenti del Sistema.

Raven Distribution: Covers and interior art for Casi irrisolti, Il Gran Grimorio dei Miti di Cthulhu, Pulp Cthulhu, and Orrore sull’Orient Express. He also illustrated Six Bullets System and Lupo Solitario – I Signori della Pestilenza di Ruel, and created logos for Wraith, Changeling, and La Mano Nera for Onyx Path.

Barn Owl and Games Hunter Edizioni: Illustrations for Six Bullets System Framework and Storie della Frontiera.
He has contributed to Sine Requie – IV Reich, worked with publishers in Germany, the UK, and the USA, and illustrated the movie poster for The Mythos Murders (F.M. Sawyer Productions).

In the 1990s, he also created animations for Dylan Dog Horror Luna Park and has worked across various artistic domains including tattoo art, murals, trompe-l'œil, band covers, and short film scripts.
He currently teaches at the Nuova Scuola Chiavarese del Fumetto and supervises the comic series The Darkwinged as Graphic Editor.
