Francesco Di Lazzaro

Francesco Di Lazzaro is the founder and director of Librogame’s Land, Italy’s largest and most prominent portal dedicated to gamebooks. Thanks to his years of experience in the publishing industry, he has taken on various roles within the field. For over five years, he was a reviewer for The Games Machine, a magazine dedicated to video game entertainment, and also worked as an editor for Timeout Italia.

A Key Figure in the Gamebook Industry, Di Lazzaro has collaborated with major publishers in the gamebook world, contributing as an editor, tester, writer, and proofreader for the Italian edition of several classic series, including: Freeway Warrior, Lone Wolf, The World of Lone Wolf, Blood Sword, and Fighting Fantasy.

Di Lazzaro curated Watson Edizioni's gamebook series. He also made his mark as an interactive fiction author, with eight professionally published books to his name. His works include: Le Fatiche di Autolico, L’Audace Colpo del Vello d’Oro, and Alla Ricerca di Autolico (Hellas Heroes series, Librarsi Edizioni); Fresco di Stampa (Lambda House Editore); Carmilla - Il Bacio del Vampiro and Caronte (Watson Edizioni); Ghasts'n Gremlins and Ogni Stramaledetto Natale (Acheron Books).

Additionally, he has written several self-published interactive books, distributed non-commercially.
