Petr Čáslava is a Czech board game designer born in 1979. He began his career as a game developer for Czech Games Edition and contributed to several titles including Adrenaline, Pulsar 2849, and Sanctum. In 2023, he received major acclaim for Kutná Hora: The City of Silver (co-designed with Ondřej Bystroň and Pavel Jaroš), which recently won the prestigious As d'Or award.
His current projects include Dirt & Dust, a “rally survival game” published by Albi that blends dice placement and deckbuilding in a unique way, and Ostrava: The Heart of Steel, the spiritual successor to the award-winning Kutná Hora. This new title features a distinctive mix of strategic industrial expansion, market manipulation, and political intrigue.
