Gianluca Maconi
Author of Connie, guest of Officina Meningi – Will be at Play 2025
Born in Pordenone in 1977, Gianluca Maconi studied at the Istituto Statale d’Arte di Cordenons and graduated in sculpture from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia in 2003. He won the “Miccia” comic award at TorinoComics in 2004 and has since worked on numerous acclaimed projects, including I delitti di Alleghe, Il Delitto Pasolini, Electric Requiem (a graphic biography of Jimi Hendrix), and contributions to major publishers such as Soleil, Aurea, Disney, and Bonelli.
In 2022, he co-founded the label Tentacle with Andrea Scoppetta and published Connie la barbara, which was also released in France by Tabou.
At Play 2025, he will be at the Officina Meningi booth to present the comic-game Connie – Prigionieri di Voyero!
