C'è Vita nel Gran Nulla Agricolo?

Originally conceived as a stand-up monologue, C’è vita nel Grande Nulla Agricolo? is a podcast series created by Johnny Faina, which debuted on 5 September 2020 with the live episode Il cane venuto dalla nebbia.
The stage for the first performance—a grape-harvest wagon full of hay—caught fire, kicking off a long and unbroken tradition of technical mishaps at their live shows.
The podcast is co-written with Gianluca Dario Rota, a screenwriter, bookseller, and the reigning patience champion of Concorezzo. It features illustrations by Federica Carioli (known as Feduzzi), a well-known illustrator and graphic designer, and original music by Leonardo Passanti, a DJ and producer known as Hollyspleef, who loves skateboarding and locally grown vegetables.
Since 2020, the podcast has released three seasons and over thirty episodes, chronicling the bizarre happenings in Villamara, a tiny village lost in the Po Valley’s very own Bermuda Triangle.
Since 2021, the podcast has also become a live show, with numerous performances, including a river tour and the Astrovan Tour (despite having no van).
In 2023, C’è vita nel Grande Nulla Agricolo? won the award for Best Fiction Podcast at the Italian Podcast Awards. Season four is expected to launch in autumn 2024.
At Play 2025, Johnny Faina and Federica Carioli will be at the Grumpy Bear stand for signings. Visitors will also be able to try the official role-playing game inspired by the podcast: Guida ai Misteri del Grande Nulla Agricolo, at the Grumpy Bear stand.
