Danilo Moretti

Hailing from Torino, game designer and illustrator Danilo Moretti has been an active professional in the gaming industry since 1990, when he co-directed Rune, the first role-playing magazine ever sold at newsstands in Italy — and he hasn’t stopped since.

A professional in graphic design, illustration, web design, and digital communication, Moretti is a Game Design Instructor at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics (Torino) since 2020, Co-founder & Co-editor of RoleZine (Inspired Device), Italy’s only dedicated RPG magazine, and a prolific RPG Designer. His most notable works include Fenomena – Second Edition (Inspired Device) and Young Unicorns Ninja Frenzy (Unicopli).

He also collaborates with various Italian game publishers, including Olifante. Moretti takes particular pride in designing Legione, the first Italian role-playing game dedicated to superheroes.
