Algida Bofrost
Born during a sweltering Bologna Pride in 2015, Algida Bofrost is the drag queen who brought a chill to the City of Towers.
Raised at the Cassero LGBTI Center, she took the stage by storm with her frosty style and the vibe of that aunt who used to sneak you cigarettes in high school.
Tempered by the flames of MTV Italia’s AnimeNight, Algida is passionate about alternative culture, glam dragged from the trash, and Japanese animation. She could wear a bin bag and feel completely at home (and probably will).
In 2017, alongside Blondie Mary and Cordelia Fae, she co-founded the drag collective "Valqueerie." Together, they produced Serena Variabile, the first Italian drag video column, in collaboration with La Falla, the Cassero LGBTI Center’s almanac.
Her motto? Ice-cold heart, marble-hard ass.
