Luigi "Tencar" Carafa

Born in 1982 and trained in computer science, Luigi Carafa spent years writing for specialist magazines before deciding to ditch corporate constraints and create something new. With his wife, he founded Nerdando, which started as a blog and evolved into a cultural association and eventually a fully-fledged news site.

The Nerdando editorial team is made up of passionate gamers who engage daily with their community, particularly via their welcoming and relaxed Discord server and Telegram group—safe spaces to talk and play together.

Nerdando’s mission is to share the team’s passions in a style that feels like chatting with friends—and that sense of friendly conversation is what makes the project truly unique.
