Grant Howitt

Grant Howitt has written more one-page RPGs than can be counted, including Honey Heist, The Witch is Dead, and Crash Pandas.

He is the co-author of Heart: The City Beneath (winner of 7 Ennie Awards), its predecessor Spire: The City Must Fall, and Orc Borg, published by Mana Project Studio and released at Play 2023.

He enjoys writing games that are absurd, sad, and hopeful all at the same time.

His publishing house is Rowan, Rook and Decard, a UK-based RPG design and publishing studio. Founded by Maz Hamilton, Grant Howitt, and Chris Taylor, and supported by producer Zachary Cox, their work includes Heart: The City Beneath, Spire: The City Must Fall, ORC BORG, Honey Heist, and a dozen other excellent games.

Co-editor DIE, the award-winning RPG honored with the RPG Magnifico, will be at Play with Isola Illyon.
