La Battaglia di Castel Bolognese

This year, the Bologna-based wargaming association Fossalta brings to Play a series of incredible scenarios, including La battaglia di Castel Bolognese.

The scenario re-enacts the events of 9–12 April 1945, when the Polish 3rd Infantry Division advanced towards the banks of the Senio River and clashed with the 4th Fallschirmjager Division, which fiercely resisted despite heavy Allied bombing.
