Presentation: Women Are Werewolves – A Nonbinary Roleplaying Game

Women Are Werewolves, published in Italian by Mana Project Studio, is a storytelling card-based roleplaying game where players take on the role of a nonbinary person in a family where all the women can transform into wolves.

Players will explore their character’s relationship with gendered spaces and family traditions, and reflect on their identity in a setting that encourages personal growth and self-discovery—even in families that may not fully understand.

The game intentionally exaggerates the concept of gender binaries to explore the many ways people can exist outside of them. While Women Are Werewolves is a queer game, you don’t have to be queer to play. All players are encouraged to use the experience for personal reflection.
