Roll in the USA

"Born in the USA" told the story of the American dream – and its contradictions. Roll in the USA was a similar journey, not through a nation’s history, but into the living heart of Dungeons & Dragons – exploring the myth and the reality of how this game is experienced in America.

Setting off for the United States, I wanted to see with my own eyes what it really means to play D&D in the States. At Gamehole Con, I felt the pulse of a vast community, met key industry figures, and discovered a very different approach to the game than we’re used to. Then I reached Lake Geneva, a town frozen in time, still bearing the marks of a revolution in gaming – the birthplace of D&D itself.

Together with my dear friend Zoltar, we’ll share stories, anecdotes, and reflections from our journey into the "New World", hoping to inspire new adventurers to cross not just geographical boundaries, but cultural ones too.
