Danny Orizio

Dany Orizio has been drawing since before he could speak, and it has remained his lifelong obsession.
He began in street art before studying at the Brera Academy in Milan. In 1994, he started working with Studio Horley-Parente on both Italian and international RPGs, including Mutant Chronicles, Chronopia, Steampunk, Shadowrun, Warhammer 40,000, Dune, and Ninja Turtles.
As a freelancer, he was one of the first Italian artists to illustrate cards for Magic: The Gathering, and later for Harry Potter, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and KeyForge.
His portfolio includes collaborations with Disney, Bonelli (Dampyr, Dragonero), Mondadori (Goosebumps, Legends & Myths), Soleil (La Dernière Lignée), and Panini Spain (Fantasy Riders), as well as advertising campaigns for Saiwa and Bionike.
He has illustrated board games like Dark Tales and Meteors, contributed to gaming magazines such as PSMania and PlayMag USA, and created RPG art for titles like Dungeon World and Drakonia.
A member of the “Lords for the Ring” collective, he works on calendars for the Italian Tolkien Studies Association.
He also pursues independent and experimental concept art projects, including Kustom Lolitaz, Monsters Creator, and the FreakArolla T-shirt line.
For the past fifteen years, he has taught Illustration, Concept Art, and Digital Techniques at the International School of Comics, and for the past five years, he has served as Lead Concept Artist for CMON’s Zombicide series.
