Marta Palvarini

Marta Palvarini is an RPG developer, game designer, activist, and educator, working in both gaming and literary publishing. She is an editor and project manager at Mana Project Studio, where she leads and develops tabletop role-playing games.
As a game designer, she has published Dura-Lande – An ecopunk RPG (Beccogiallo) and Favelle Orbitali – A gamebook set in the same dystopian universe (Aristea).
With Mana Project, she has worked on Elder Mythos RPG and Project 99 as a designer and on Cowboy Bebop RPG as a developer.
She also edited the anthology Fuori dal Dungeon: Genere, Razza e Classe nel Gioco di Ruolo Occidentale (Asterisco).
Marta Palvarini collaborates as a translator and editor with several major RPG publishers, including Grumpy Bear, Need Games, and Aces Games. She also designed Clocked, an escape room experience hosted at ADI Design Museum.
She has taught game history and anti-capitalist approaches to gaming at NABA – New Academy of Fine Arts (Milano), Roma Tre University – Master’s Programme in Gender Studies & Policies, Politecnico di Torino, and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (Torino).
