Christian "Zoltar" Bellomo

In 1989, Christian "Zoltar" Bellomo discovered Dungeons & Dragons — and his life was never the same.

In 1996 he earned the Immaginaria - Master Gioco di Ruolo Award, presented by Giovanni Ingellis. After years of playing RPGs, he had one goal: to spread the love for D&D, "the world's greatest RPG".

Zoltar thus created SageAdvice.eu, which since 2014 has helped over 15 million visitors find answers about Dungeons & Dragons. Thanks to this work, he was selected as an official playtester for Wizards of the Coast.

He has also served as a Dungeon Master for the prestigious D&D in a Castle event and received the Immaginaria 2018 Award, dedicated to the memory of Giovanni Ingellis.

In recent years, Dungeons & Dragons has led Zoltar to collaborate with Wizards of the Coast, Netflix (Stranger Things), Asmodee, Scuola Holden, and The Order of Psychologists of Veneto.

He also writes a dedicated D&D column for ioGioco magazine.

In 2022, he met Francesco Lancia at Play - The Games Festival, leading Zoltar to become an Artistic Consultant for the Dungeons & Deejay podcast — one of Italy’s most populat gaming podcasts, running for four consecutive seasons.

In 2023, he took to the stage at Lucca Comics & Games alongside Joe Manganiello.

In 2024, for the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons, he collaborated with LEGO as a Dungeon Master, Panini on the Dungeons & Dragons sticker album, and Hachette for the promotion of Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer.

Additionally, he has been working with Lucca Comics & Games 2024 as a host and panel interviewer for D&D-themed events, and Milano Games Week 2024 where he interviewed the Italian voice actors of Baldur’s Gate 3.
